Parliamentary Procedures - 2 HoursUpon Completion of the workshop, the participants should be able to:
1. Discuss the importance of excellent service to clients, coworkers, organizations, and self.
2. Explain how to determine and satisfy other's needs.
3. Conduct efficient and effective interactions.
4. Explain how to deal with difficult/emotional people.
5. Lead a meeting with basic parliamentary procedure.
6. List principles in orienting and mentoring coworkers, especially recently employed nursing assistants.
7. Describe professional opportunities and responsibilities related to Florida Association of Nurse Assistants (FANA).The FANA Leadership Course is designed for class sizes of 20 - 25 attendees, and the fee is $60 for members and $100 for nonmembers. The course is designed to be taught by an RN in two sessions of 7 hours each, or 7 sessions of 2 hours each.

All FANA members are welcome to attend any of our regional or chapter meetings, inside or outside of your own immediate areas. Certificates of attendance are given to all participants who attend education programs in full.You are requested, if able, to bring a donation of a personal care item to FANA education programs. These will be given to a local charity in that community.
